recursive_getters
Property getter recursively returns itself.
Details
#DON'T create recursive getters.
Recursive getters are getters which return themselves as a value. This is usually a typo.
BAD:
dart
int get field => field; // LINT
BAD:
dart
int get otherField {
return otherField; // LINT
}
GOOD:
dart
int get field => _field;
Enable
#To enable the recursive_getters
rule, add recursive_getters
under linter > rules in your analysis_options.yaml
file:
analysis_options.yaml
yaml
linter:
rules:
- recursive_getters
If you're instead using the YAML map syntax to configure linter rules, add recursive_getters: true
under linter > rules:
analysis_options.yaml
yaml
linter:
rules:
recursive_getters: true
