Google Summer of Code (GSoC) is a global program focused on bringing student developers into open source software development. Students are sponsored by Google to work with a mentoring open source organization on a 12+ week programming project during the summer. Over the past 17 years, more than 18,000 students have participated in Google Summer of Code.
We’re excited to announce that Dart is a mentoring organization (for the third time!) in Google Summer of Code 2022. Check out the results posts to learn more about the great projects from 2020 and 2021.
Are you interested?
#Get started now by reading the list of project ideas to find a match for your skills and interests. Formal applications must be submitted before April 19th, but prospective applicants are encouraged to submit early drafts and ask for feedback.
The Dart team expects to have enough mentors to accept only a handful of applications, so also check out the other mentoring organizations.
